The
Renegade is one of the many production fiberglass sailboats designed by
William H. Shaw and built by Pearson Yachts.
Approximately 173 hulls were produced between 1967 - 1969. |
Designed
under the Cruising Club of America
("C.C.A.") racing rules of the late 1960's, the 27' 2" Renegade is unique
as one of the first production sailboats with a fin keel and spade rudder.
The Renegade offers their owners the tracking ability of a full-keel
cruiser with the maneuverability of a racer. On the following pages
you will find out more about these classic boats including layout plans,
pictures, and ideas for upgrading this classic boat.
